Dora is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She also has a certification in Restorative Yoga, as well as certification in Yoga for the Pelvic Floor and Accessible Yoga. Dora is currently pursing her advanced training to be a 500 level Yoga Instructor. Her passion is to share with others the great benefits of self-healing of what the practice gives to the body, mind, and spiritual path.
Dora’s yoga journey began about 15 years ago, when she began suffering from constant hip pain. After trying various prescribed medicines without finding any significant relief, she began using yoga to help relieve her hip pain and overall health without the need of medications. Yoga has transformed her outlook on life and provided a deep sense of pain-free calmness and well-being.
Dora’s style of teaching yoga classes is calming, thoughtful, gently challenging, and deeply nourishing. She is a humble person with compassion and lots of love to offer to her students. She loves teaching classes that are accessible to all levels by giving alignment-based instruction and offering many modifications. When she is not in class or teaching Yoga, she loves reading, gardening, and traveling the world.
