Why is the BREATH the entry point to WELLNESS?
The Ancients discovered how the BREATH was the entry point to creating change on a physical, mental and spiritual level. The Ancients delved further into the four parts of the breath and explored its effects on the body, mind and breath capacity.
In this 3 hour workshop, we will:
-Understand BREATH as the entry point for change
-Understand the concept of Pranayama
-Learn the Four Parts of the Breath
-Experience a yoga practice incorporating the four parts of the breath
-Deepen our appreciation of the power of the BREATH
Wayo Ramirez has trained with Gary Kraftsow, founder and Senior Teacher, of the American Viniyoga Institute (AVI). Wayo’s understanding of the Yoga Tradition allows him to present this ancient, deep and relevant practice to our modern day lives. His humor, personality, and playful approach creates a space for exploration of the teachings of wellness, balance and SELF-care.
